EBLOCH LEGAL is an independent French law firm, founded in 2016. The firm is based in Paris and has a significant international practice (Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas). Through its experienced attorneys, the firm provides its clients with quality assistance and advice, delivering innovative and pragmatic solutions taking into account both their needs and applicable regulations.

EBLOCH LEGAL advises and assists some of the largest stakeholders in the audiovisual sector and numerous organizers of sports competitions in Europe, Africa and Asia, in relation to the acquisition, the distribution and the protection of their content.
The firm is particularly active in the fight against piracy of audiovisual content before various courts and administrative authorities, helping its clients to secure their rights and content.
EBLOCH LEGAL also assists its clients holding intellectual and industrial property rights (trademarks, designs, copyrights, patents) in managing (acquisition, licensing, assignment) or protecting (validity, claims, counterfeiting) those rights.

Partner
Edouard Bloch
Admitted to practice in 2000, Edouard holds a Master degree in business law (Paris X) and a Master in intellectual property, industrial agreements and new technologies law (Grenoble II). He completed his education with an LL.M in Intellectual Property at Pierce Law Center (University of New Hampshire, USA), where he served as assistant to Professor Thomas G. Field.
Edouard is the author of the chapter dedicated to French law in the 2010 and 2014 editions of 'International Patent Litigation: A Country by Country Analysis' (BNA Bureau of National Affairs, Inc). He also contributed to the section related to French law in the 2016 edition of 'Consultancy Agreement: International' (Thomson Reuters).
Edouard was an associate at Denton Wilde Sapte (2001). He then joined Wilhelm & Associés where he was appointed partner (2012). He subsequently joined Poulain & Associés as a partner (2014) before creating EBLOCH LEGAL.
Edouard is involved in all of the firm's areas of practice, both in non litigious and litigious matters. He works in both French and English.

Margaux Le Roy
Admitted to practice in 2018, Margaux holds a Master degree in Corporate Structure and Business Law from the University of Paris X.
After three years of experience in the "Private Equity – Mergers and Acquisitions – Corporate Law" department of Lext Avocats, she joined EBLOCH LEGAL in 2022 to strengthen its teams and expand its expertise.
Margaux has a recognized expertise in French and OHADA (Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa) laws in relation with private equity and mergers and acquisitions matters. She also assists the firm's clients with their day-to-day corporate law matters (general meetings, boards, delegations of authority, etc.) in France and in the OHADA countries.
Margaux leads the "Private Equity – Mergers and Acquisitions – Corporate Law" department.
She works in both French and English.
Attorney at Law
Chloé Hégly
Admitted to practice in 2024, Chloé holds a Master degree (Master 2) in General Private Law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, as well as degrees from the Assas College of Law and Assas Law School. She completed her education with an LL.M in US Law from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, with a specialization in intellectual property.
After an experience within the Legal and Financial Department of the Centre Pompidou, Chloé completed her final trainee lawyer internship in the IP/IT department of UGGC Avocats in 2024, before joining EBLOCH LEGAL.
She advises and represents clients in both advisory and litigation matters, bringing her expertise to issues of audiovisual law, intellectual property law (copyright and related rights, industrial property) and commercial law.
Chloé assists our clients in France and internationally, in both French and English.
Attorney at Law
Marie-Cécile Faucher
After her admission to the Paris Bar in 2025, Marie-Cécile joined EBLOCH LEGAL.
She holds a Master degree in Civil and Business Law from the University of Bordeaux, as well as a Master in Procedural Law from Paris VIII University.
After two experiences as a corporate lawyer and legal manager (2023-2024), Marie-Cécile joined DS Avocats in the business and energy law department for her final internship (2025).
She primarily practices corporate law (general meetings, boards of directors, delegation of powers, etc.) under French and OHADA laws, as well as M&A and private equity.
Marie-Cécile works in French and English.
